Ryszard Miętkowski, Cezary Tkaczyk, Ludwik Zasada

Abstract

The samples of soil for experiment were taken from arable field and meadow. Larvae of Laspeyresia pomonella and Plodia interpuactella were used as an "insect bait" for isolation of entomopathogenic fungi from the soil. Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, Paecilomyces farinosus and P. fumosoroseus were isolated from both kinds of soil.
