To become an ordinary member of the Polish Botanical Society, you have to be an adult individual person who contributes to the advancement of the science of botany and cognate disciplines.
A candidate for an ordinary member shall be presented during the meeting of the regional division by two ordinary or honorary members of the Society. The Division’s resolution is then affirmed by the Management Board.
To become a supporting member, you have to be an individual person or a legal entity (these usually comprise scientific institutions), who demonstrates readiness to help in reaching the Society’s statutory objectives.
A candidate for a supporting member shall be affirmed by the Management Board.
The status of honorary member of the PBS is given by the General Meeting of Delegates.
