The variability of seedss in Spergularia marina (L.) Griseb. (= S. Salina J. et C. PresI) growing on seacoast and iniand saline soils in Poland
Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyse Polish populations of Spergularia marina in terms of seed variability, which was found to be independent of the environment to some degree. It was shown that the populations from industrialized and natural, but clearly unstabilized, habitats have less diversified seeds than populations from relict inland stands and some stabilized seacoast stands.
