Plant cell responses to lead

Abstract


Current views on plant cell reactions to lead are reviewed. Lead uptake, translocation, early and secondary disturbing effects, as well as resistance mechanisms (avoidance and tolerance), with general characteristics of some metal binding compounds are focused on.
