The genus Steccherinum in Poland. I. Steccherium bourdotii found in Tarnów town

Abstract


Steccherium bourdotii Saliba et David is described and illustrated. Also, its occurrence in Poland and in the world is presented. The fungus is reported here to be new in Poland, earlier it has been confused with Steccherinum ochraceum (Pers.: Fr.) S. F. Gray. A handful information on its ecology is provided.
