The frequency of occurrence and distribution of keratinophilic fungi in some arable soils

Abstract


The conducted researches showed that keratinophilic fungi - Trichophyton (with Arthroderma), Chrysosporium and Ctenomyces - manifested a distinct preference to rich humus soils,characterized by a smaller amount of silt and clay particles and neutral or slight alkaline reaction.
