Abstract


The paper presents the results of three-year investigations on the flora of higher fungi in beech- and first-forests of the Central Roztocze (south-eastern Poland). In this area there runs the north-eastern border of dense occurrence of Abies alba and Fagus sylvatica. The investigations were carried out on o17 fixed observational surfaces, each of 400m2 (the square of a side 20x20m). Inthe paper there were described the fungi inhabiting the wood of Abies alba and Fagus sylvatica, as well as trrestial fungi against the background of plant communities.
