Występowanie głowni rajgrasu wyniosłego (Ustilago perennans Rostr.) w Polsce [The occurrence of tall oat grass smut (Ustilago perennans Rostr.) in Poland]

Abstract

Ustilago perennans occurs commonly in Poland, dramaging several per cent of panicles. The highest smut infection of tall oat grass (Arrhenatherum elatius) occurred during the first year of crop production. During the consecutive years, the incidence of disease decreased gradually. Some plants recovered completely. Different forms of disease symptoms on panicles were observed. Occasionally, the fungus attacked also the youngest leaves of tall oat grass.
