To become an Ordinary member of PBS, you have to be an adult individual person who can demonstrate their scientific record with regard to the science of botany and cognate disciplines, or a person who contributes to the advancement of these sciences.
To become an Associate member of PBS, you have to be an adult individual person who shows readiness to cooperate in reaching the objects of the Polish Botanical Society; but you do not have to have any previous scientific record.
To become a Supporting member of PBS, you have to be an individual person or a legal entity (these usually comprise scientific institutions), who demonstrates readiness to help in reaching the Society’s statutory objectives. A supporting member has a right to participate in the PBS’s activities personally or through their representative.
A candidate for one of the aformentioned membership statuses shall be presented during the meeting of the Division by two ordinary or honorary members of the Society. The Division’s resolution is then affirmed by the Management Board.
The status of honorary member of PBS is given by the General Meeting of the Delegates of the PBS.
